The placement
The installation of a polyurethane floor is done in five layers and takes about a week. After installation, a curing period of five days is required, during which the floor fully chemically cures. During this period, the floor must remain dust-free and must not be walked on.
The different layers are:
- Primer: Ensures good adhesion to the subfloor.
- Equalization layer: For a perfectly flat surface.
- Polyurethane floor system: The main layer that provides durability and flexibility.
- Colored top coat: Two finishes that provide the desired color and protection.
